The program allows you to manipulate with your photo on two levels: Image and Layer.
The "Image" item of the main menu contains the functions which allow you to work with background along with all layers at once.
1.Mode - Grayscale or RGB 24 bit
2.Image Size - Change the size of the whole image. The size of all layers will be updated automatically.
3.Canvas Size - Crop the background image.
4.Transform - contains the set of functions for flipping and rotation of the image. All layers will be transformed automatically.
5.Apply preset - apply the pre-configured color adjustment, size or filter setting to the image. Presets editor can be accessed by clicking the "Edit Presets" menu item. More info about presets you can found here.
6.Duplicate - create a copy of the current project and put it on new tab.
7.Convert Background to layer - leave background blank, but insert its bitmap as first layer. After this procedure you can perform operations with first layer which are not allowed for background. For example, you cannot change position of background, but you can do it with layer.
8.Merge All - merge all layers and then paint on the background. As a result, only the background remains.
9.Reveal All - resize the background so that all layers are visible.
10.Crop to Selected Layers - crop the background so that only selected layers are visible.
11.Show Channels - open the window where you can see the Red/Green/Blue , CMYK and Hue/Saturation/Luminosity channels of the image.
12.Show Histogram - display the historgam of the image. You can choose the channel and the style for the graph.
13.Compare Images - see the difference (in percents) between two loaded images.
14.General / EXIF/ IPTC info - You can view the general information about the image file here; as well as view/edit EXIF and IPTC tags:
General information cannot be edited.
EXIF info can be enabled and edited. To write the EXIF info into the current image, click "Write" button. Note: it does not mean that the file is saved, it just whites the info into currently viewed image. You need to save the image file after that if you want to apply the changes to a file.
IPTC info is divided onto Photoshop IPTC fields and Raw IPTC fields. You can edit and save the info by clicking the "Write" button.
15.Hidden Text - read or write a hidden text from/into a image. Hidden information is stored inside the image (uses a pixel color modulation) and is independent of the image file format.
Warning: The hidden text will be lost if you save the image as Jpeg or if you subsample the colors.
16.Encrypt - The function encrypts/decrypts the current image using the Tiny Encryption Algorithm with a key of 128 bits. You need to specify the password key for encryption and decryption.
Warning: The image must be saved using a lossless format and in full rgb color spaces (no palette). If you use a lossy format such as JPEG, or a limited color format, such as GIF, you will not be able to decrypt the image. There is no way to know whether an image is encrypted or not.
